In a narrow sense, ACPJ is the grassroots nonprofit defined by our Bylaws and governed by our Board. Our mission is to promote peaceful and just relationships through education, dialogue, and action. Membership is open to all regardless of age, race, faith, gender, economic status, ancestry, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity. We hold an Annual Members Meeting each February and plan other gatherings and events throughout the year.

In a broader sense, the Coalition should be thought of as the collection of organizations that share our vision for human dignity, peace and non-violence, environmental stewardship, and respect for diversity as described on the Home page. How each came to be included in this database varies, and the nature of this amorphous collection has long resisted characterization. One thing we do know is that with others we can do much!.
